Hi, I was wondering if anyone has heard of the supplement Dyne. It is
used for sick dogs to help them gain weight while fighting of sickeness
due to them not eating. I have a chin who just had kidnet stone surgery
and has lost weight and a friend told me about this supplement and said
it was good for chins. My only question it has soybean oil init and I
thought too much oil was not good for chinchillas.

well it sounds ok, but I would go with a mush that is half ground
pellets and half sports shake powder with all amino acids and vitamins
in it. soy is good there. and I would mix a little of that each time
with baby food and gatorade, and make it a slurry and feed him 5-10 cc
in a feeding syringe 3 times a day, and weigh him daily.
thats what I would do.
get his weight up, keep as close to his normal diet as youcan and still
pack extra calories and nutrients in his diet.
and good luck
